About Mentoring Moments with Dr. Rob Wottawa
About Rob
Dr. Rob Wottawa is a school district leader, an educator and mentor, he holds a Doctorate in Education and has led programs supporting teachers and students across Long Island. Rob co-founded Long Island Education (#LIE), chairs SAANYS Region 1, teaches at local colleges, and presents nationwide on leadership and mentoring.
A dedicated leader, Rob is passionate about developing future educators and creating spaces where teachers and students thrive. He continues to design mentoring strategies, guide doctoral candidates, and bring people together to inspire meaningful change. Outside of work, he enjoys family time on Long Island with his wife and two daughters.
